At BAA we want to create a portal for caring individuals who recognise that a sustainable energy option is the only option which can guarantee a infinitely renewable solution for the fuel needs of Australia and the world in its present state. We hope to become an established source in the burgeoning biofuels industry and help to create a fuel solution which is consistent with Australia’s community insterests and national and environmental standards.

BAA welcomes all aspects of the industry, from ethanol and biodiesel producers to feedstock suppliers, independant and major oil companies, technology providers, equipment manufacturers and even mining and construction companies. We hope to assist all kinds of companies in the industry by becoming an information hub for biofuels and sustainable choices.

Some of you may be wondering, but whats the argument against biofuels? What argument could there be?

A lot of people, mostly backed by major suppliers of fossil fuels, are misled into thinking that biofuels are an overly expensive and complicated alternative to traditionally used substances like oil and other unrenewable natural resources.

While biofuels may have a slightly higher cost than fossil fuels, what people seem to forget is that fossil fuels are only a cheaper alternative for now. Within our lifetime at our current consumption rate we could use up all the currently existing reserves of fossil fuels which would mean that financing an alternative at that point would become a necessity.

So is it smarter to pay now, when we don’t have pressing time concerns, or be forced to pay even more later when biofuels are our only option?

Biofuel is the future whether we want it or not, so jump on the bandwagon early and help BAA support biofuels today.
